Manhunt to make an appearance on Xbox

Manhunt, the highly controversial game on Playstation 2 is set to debut on the Xbox during mid 2004. Take Two Interactive's publishing Label, Rockstar Games who have recently released the uber-selling Grand Theft Auto Series on Xbox will release Manhunt, some time next year. It's not yet known whether any improvements will be made on the Xbox version although it's generally expected that the graphics may be tweaked as with Grand Theft Auto III / Vice City when they were finally released on the Xbox.

Manhunt was actually banned in New Zealand by the Office of Film and Literature Classification who described it as "gruesome". Rockstar Games are no strangers to controversy after having a lawsuit filed against them earlier this year by the parents of a man randomly killed as he was driving in June 2003. The two teenagers who killed the man and also left someone seriously injured claim that they were influenced after playing the hit game Grand Theft Auto III. SCEA, Take Two and Wal-mart were also hit by the lawsuit.
