Features - Manhunt PC Debug Menu

In this feature we are going to check out all the features of the debug trainer for the PC version of Manhunt which can be found in the Downloads section of the site. The debug menu is generally used by developers as a ‘shortcut’ to features and isn’t normally supposed to be seen outside of development, occasionally you can stumble across removed features with such things. A lot of the features are ‘greyed out’ in effect making them un-selectable so it is impossible to see just what exactly they do, in these instances we have added what we believe they may do. Each of the options are listed below, so it is easy to see what everything does, if you spot anything new let us know by contacting us.

- Show Damage Spheres
All hunters have damage spheres around them, showing the various limbs and such that can be damaged.
- D Sphere Max Speed
Changes the speed of which the character models are damages, in examples of slow motion it would double the time of deformation.
- D Sphere Max Decay
Alters the limits of how much the character meshes are allowed to deform, such as when heads are blown off.
- D Sphere Max Scale
Alters the size of the damage sphere, the smaller the sphere the more precise the player has to be in attacking a hunter.
- Player Damage Map
Controls the ease of shown damage when Cash has been hit, such as bruises and blood.
- Player Sweat
Allows you to adjust the amount of sweat visible on Cash it generally adjusts itself in game depending on Cash's current state, it is affected by the stamina meter.
- Player Blood
Adjusts the various levels off blood shown on Cash.
- Player Bruises
Adjusts the various levels off bruises shown on Cash.
- i Transparent BSP
Removes all textures in the level apart from the character models, requires exit from current level to work.

Unknown. Possibly displayed the hunters name.

Does nothing. Likely was used to check the texture memory during the creation process.

Likely saved a document of the memory used. Not enabled.
- Mem. Area info
Would have been used to display the ammount of memory used in a specific location. Not enabled.
- Crosshair Type
Was likely an option to change the the crosshair when aiming. Not enabled.
- Weather Cloudy
Allows for various degrees of cloud adjustment, it works numerically.
- Weather Windy
Allows for various degrees of wind adjustment, it works numerically.
- Weather Rainy
Allows for various degrees of rain adjustment, it works numerically.
- Weather Thunder
Allows for various degrees of thunder adjustment, it works numerically.
- Weather Foggy
Allows for various degrees of fog adjustment, it works numerically.

This is for cut scenes which require the camera shakes, simulating that someone is walking or running.

Used to adjust how much the camera shakes.
- Decay Power
Unknown.
- Twitch Scale
I believe that this changes the way the HC option works.
- Vel and Change
Unknown what this does I suspect it has something to do with the camera, likely the velocity.
